Mosaic jacket

Base information 

Gauge 34x70 st on 10x10 cm in mosaic knitting

For this sweater I have used yarn from Garnstudio DROPS Baby Merino and needles size 3,5 mm

150 g navy blue DROPS baby merino
150 g off white DROPS baby merino
Needles 3,5 mm
2 help needles 3,5 mm
1 dividable zipper 30 cm

The sweater fits a 3-4 year old

st = stitch
k = knit
sl = slip

The jacket is knitted back and forth (not in the round)

M1

......................

Front and back

Cast on 207 st on needle 3,5 mm with white yarn
Knit 3 rows in stockinet knitting

Knit M1 (Mosaic knitting) until the work is 22 cm (end with wrong side knitted)

From right side, knit 52 st (in M1) and put the other st on a help needle


Front 1

Put on stiches for the arm to the side and work the new stiches into M1.
Put on stiches on every other row according to: 
2 st 5 times, 3 st 5 times, 4 st 5 times and 18 st 1 time

Continue knitting M1 until work measures 32 cm and then decrease for the collar on every other row according to:
8 st 1 time, 3 st 1 time, 2 st 1 time and 1 st 2 times

Continue knitting M1 until work measures 37 cm and then bind off loosely


Back

Knit 103 st from the help needle (in M1) and leave the other 52 st on the help needle. Put on new st for the back of the arms in the same way as on Front 1. Knit the new st into M1.

Knit M1 until work measures 36 cm and then decrease the 30 middle st for the collar. Put the other arm on a help needle.

Knit the first arm until work measures 37 cm. Make sure to have the same number of rows in the back as it is in the front!
Bind off loosely


Front 2

Knit the rest of the st from the help needle in the same way as Front 1


Assemble

Sew the shoulder seems


Arm edge

Put on st for the edge of the arm in white yarn (from right side).
Knit 3 rows in stockinet knitting and bind off loosely on the 4th row.
Knit the other arm edge in the same way.


Edge in the front

Put on 65-75 st (from right side) on the edge in the front in white yarn.
Knit 3 rows in stockinet knitting and bind off loosely on the 4th row.
Knit the other edge in the same way


Collar

Put on st around the neck in white yarn.
Knit 3 rows in stockinet knitting and bind off loosely on the 4th row


Final assemble

Sew the seems under the arms.
Tie all loose ends.
Mount the zipper in the front

The Alice sweater

Base information 

Gauge 21x34 st on 10x10 cm in bubble st

For this sweater I have used yarn from Garnstudio DROPS Alpaca and DROPS Baby Alpaca silk

100 g green (alpaca)
150 g silver (baby alpaca silk)


The sweater fits a 3-4 year old

st = stitch
rd = round
k = knit
p = purl
b = bubblek2tog = Knit 2 stitches together


Knitting a bubble
When on a "B st" in M1, count 5 rounds below (the first green round under the silver rounds) and put the needle into that st and k1 through the green st. Slip the silver st and release the 4 st in the silver st above creating a bubble.

Front and back

Ridges
Cast on 136 st on circular needle 3 mm with green yarn
Knit in the round
Knit one round. Knit 3 cm of spring by repeating k2 +p2


Change needle to 3,5 mm circular needle. Knit one round and increase at the same time 8 st evenly round the work (144 st)
Place one marker in the beginning of the round and one marker after 72 st

Knit M1
When M1 is knitted 11 times (22 bubbles), knit one round with silver and at the same time decrease 4 st before the markers and 4 st after the markers for the hole under the arms. 


Arms

Cast on 44 st on double-pointed needles size 3 mm
Knit 3 cm of spring by repeating k2 +p2

Place a marker in the beginning of the round and change to 3,5 mm needles

Knit one round and at the same time increase 4 st evenly in the round

Knit 7 rounds in M1
On round 8 and 9 in M1, increase 1 st on each side of the marker (totally 4 st increased)

Continue on knitting M1 and knit the increased 4 st into M1

Repeat the increase in the same way every time M1 is knitted until M1 is knitted 3 times (6 rows of bubbles)

Knit M1 until M1 is knitted a total of 11 times (22 bubbles and approx 29 cm)

Knit one round with silver and at the same time decrease 4 st on each side of the marker for the arm hole


Knit a second arm in the same way

Place the arms in the work on the circular needle

Yoke

Place 4 markers where the arms meet the front and back of the work
Knit round 2-6 in M1 over the whole work, but knit 2 st before and 2 st after the markers (raglan) NOT in M1

When round 7 in M1 is starting, decrease for the raglan (see below) EVERY OTHER ROUND 14 times and then EVERY round 6 times

Knit the bubble to the end (so the two green rounds are knitted)

Raglan
Knit raglan according to below:
K1 after the marker, k2tog. Knit until it is 3 st left to the next marker, slip 1 st and k1. Pass the slip stitch over the knit st, K1. 

Collar

Make sure the number of st on the needle is dividable by 4.

Knit 2 cm with ridges by repeating k2 + p2 with green yarn
Bind off with k over k and p over p VERY LOOSELY!


Finishing
Turn the sweater inside out
Sew the holes under the arms

The little striped one

Base information 

Gauge 22x34 st on 10x10 cm 

For this sweater I have used yarn from Garnstudio DROPS Muskat and DROPS Cotton Light
100 g white
50 g blue
50 g gray


The sweater fits a 1-2 year old

st = stitch
rd = round
k = knit
p = purle
k2tog = Knit 2 stitches together

Tip!

To avoid the stripes for being "cut off" every new round, knit one round of the new color. When the second round is starting, slip the first st and continue on knitting. The stripes are evened out.


Front and back

Ridges
Cast on 120 st on circular needle 3,5 mm with white yarn
Knit in the round
Knit 5 rounds of spring by repeating k2 +p2

Knit one round and increase at the same time 4 st evenly round the work (124 st)
Place one marker in the beginning of the round and one marker after 62 st

Knit M1 ca 21 cm and make sure the last round knitted is the round before the 2 white rounds are knitted. 
At the same time on the last round, decrease 2 st before the markers and 2 st after the markers for the hole under the arms. There should now be 58 st between the markers on each side of the work.


Arms

Cast on 28 st on double-pointed needles size 3,5 mm
Place a marker in the beginning of the round
Knit 10 rounds stockinette stitch with white yarn

Knit M2
After 1 cm striped, increase 1 st on each side of the marker

Continue on knitting M2 and at the same time increase 2 st every 3rd cm. Increase a total of 5 times (after 1, 4, 7, 10 and 13 cm). You now have 38 st on the needles

Knit ca 15 cm of striped and make sure the last round knitted is the round before the two white rounds. At the same time on the last round, decrease 2 st before the markers and 2 st after the markers for the hole under the arms.

Knit a second arm in the same way

Place the arms in the work on the circular needle

Yoke

Place 4 markers where the arms meet the front and back of the work
Knit 2 rounds across the whole work

Continue on knitting M1 on the front and back of the work and M2 on the arms and AT THE SAME TIME make the decrease for the raglan (see below) with white yarn EVERY OTHER ROUND. Have all three colors follow in the rounds (except for the all white rounds)

Raglan
Use white yarn for the raglan. 
Knit raglan and decrease EVERY OTHER ROUND according to below:
K1 after the marker, k2tog. Knit until it is 3 st left to the next marker, slip 1 st and k1. Pass the slip stitch over the knit st, K1. 
The raglan is always knit with 4 white stitches every round!

Make a total of 11 increases for the raglan

Collar

Knit 5 rounds with ridges by repeating k2 + p2 with white yarn
Bind off with k over k and p over p

Finishing
Turn the sweater inside out
Cut the threads that have followed in the rounds and tie them in the work (then the sweater is not so bobbly)

Sew the holes under the arms

Den lilla randiga

Grundinformation

Stickfasthet 22x34 m på 10x10 cm

Till denna tröja har jag använt garn DROPS Muskat och DROPS Cotton light från Garnstudio
100 g vit
50 g blå
50 g grå

Tröjan passar 1-2-åring (ca 80/86)

m = maska
v = varv
rm = rät maska
am = avig maska
2 rm tills = Sticka 2 räta maskor tillsammans

Tips!

För att undvika att ränderna "kapas" vid nytt varv, sticka ett v av den nya färgen. När varv två påbörjas, så lyft den första maskan och sticka vidare som vanligt. Då jämnas ränderna ut.



Fram- och bakstycke

Resår
Lägg upp 120 m på rundsticka 3,5 mm med vit tråd.
Sticka runt på rundsticka.
Sticka 5 v resår med 2 rm + 2 am

Sticka 1 v rätt med vit tråd och öka samtidigt 4 m jämnt fördelat (124 m)
Sätt ut en markör i början av varvet och en markör efter 62 maskor

Sticka M1 ca 21 cm och se till att sista varvet är varvet innan de två vita varven ska stickas.
Samtidigt på sista varvet, avmaska 2 m innan markeringarna och två maskor efter markörerna för armhål. Det ska nu vara 58 m mellan markeringarna.

Ärmar

Lägg upp 28 m på strumpsticka 3,5 mm
Sätt ut en markör i början av varvet
Sticka 10 v rätt med vit tråd

Sticka M2
Efter 1 cm randigt, öka 1 m på var sida om markören

Fortsätt att sticka M2 och öka samtidigt 2 m enligt ovan var tredje cm. Det skall ökas totalt 5 ggr (efter 1, 4, 7, 10 och 13 cm av det randiga). Du har nu 38 m på stickorna

Sticka ca 15 cm randigt och se till att sista varvet är varvet innan de två vita varven skall stickas. Samtidigt på sista v, avmaska 2 m innan markören och 2 m efter markören för armhål

Sticka en till ärm på samma sätt

Sätt in de två ärmarna på rundstickan

Oket

Sätt ut 4 markörer där ärmarna möter fram- och bakstycket.
Sticka 2 v vitt rätt över hela arbetet

Fortsätt sedan att sticka M1 på fram- och bakstycket och M2 på ärmarna SAMTIDIGT som det avmaskas för raglan med vit tråd (se avsnitt om raglan nedan). Låt trådarna med de tre olika färgerna följa med varven runt (förutom på de varv som stickas helt vita)

Raglan
Sticka raglan med vit tråd och avmaska vå vartannat v så här:
Sticka 1 rm efter markören, 2 rm tills. Sticka tills det är 3 m kvar till nästa markör, lyft 1 m och sticka nästa rät. Dra den lyfta m över den stickade m. Sticka 1 rm. Det stickas alltid 4 vita m i raglan!

Totalt görs 11 st raglanintagningar

Krage

Sticka 5 v resår 2 rm + 2 am med vitt
Maska av med rät över rät och avig över avig

Klipp och fäst trådarna

Vänd tröjan ut och in
Klipp trådarna som följt med i arbetet och fäst dem (Då blir det inte bubbligt i arbetet)
Fäst lösa trådar

Den klassiska pippikoftan

Jag har aldrig stickat denna klassiska kofta, men det blir nog en snart efter mina tre nuvarande stickprojekt är klara :)

Fiskbensmaska

Har precis lärt mig en ny maska att sticka; Fiskbensmaskan (Herringbone stitch). Väldigt vacker och väldigt enkel att sticka. Det enda man måste tänka på är att lägga upp löst och sticka arbetet löst. Maskorna ska med lätthet glida av stickan. Använd gärna aningen grövre garn med inte så mycket "fluff", så blir mönstret tydligt. Jag använder Merino Extra Fine och rundsticka 4,5mm.

För att sticka fiskbensmaska, så stickar man två maskor i taget och släpper av en maska. 

Från rätsidan stickar man två maskor tillsammans räta i de bakre maskbågarna. 

Släpp sedan bara den första stickade maskan av stickan. Fortsätt sticka två maskor i taget hela varvet ut.  En av de två maskorna är redan stickad.

Från avigsidan stickas två maskor aviga tillsammans. Släpp sedan bara den första stickade maskan av stickan. Upprepa hela varvet ut.

Det är jätteenkelt och blir väldigt effektfullt. Tänk bara på att sticka löst, annars blir arbetet kompakt.
